Community service fills the soul. And when it’s authentic and real, it is wonderful for your business as well. People love working with or buying from a business that truly cares. And there is no better way to show your heart, mission and values than through community service videos.

I know some people and businesses like to give back anonymously. I’m not one to tell people how to go about things. I mean, I’ve given anonymously before. But there is also everything right about showcasing the work you do in your community. You can be proud of your investment of time, talent and treasure.

Blackwood Builders Group

Blackwood Builders Group, a quality homebuilder in the Seattle area, recently reached out to us for community service videos. They needed to capture their volunteers at two different community events on the same day. We started with Blackwood Builders Group crews at One Seattle Day of Service on Capitol Hill, and then joined another set of volunteers building a ramp at a house in Everett as part of Rampathon.

And the best part for Blackwood Builders Group: we created three separate community service videos for them. One focused solely on One Seattle Day of Service, the second showcased Rampathon, and the third video covered both together. Three community service videos in a single day shoot; that’s a great return on investment.

And Blackwood Builders Group’s dedication to nonprofits and community goes well beyond that single day. They also proudly support Seattle Children’s Hospital, New Beginnings, and Weld. And they even build safe and secure housing in Honduras with DwellingsNow.

MBAKS Community Service Videos

Blackwood Builders Group took part in Rampathon, and we have also partnered with the organization that hosts the program. The Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties started Rampathon more than 30 years ago. Member companies and community volunteers come together every summer to build wheelchair access ramps at residences around the community.

We partnered with MBAKS on community service video production to highlight a recent ramp build in Renton. We interviewed the ramp recipient, the MBAKS member company volunteers, and the MBAKS executive director to get the full depth of the Rampathon story.

On top of the feature video we created for Rampathon, we also put together two shorter community service videos for MBAKS that they could use to promote the event on social media.

HF Sinclair Puget Sound Refinery

HF Sinclair Puget Sound Refinery has also trusted us with community service videos. They hired our Seattle video production company to cover the Fueling Education Fun Run which benefits the Anacortes Schools Foundation and local children. The Fueling Education Fun Run raises nearly $60,000 every year. And, it’s been happening for nearly a decade.

As the name suggests, the Fueling Education Fun Run is just that — FUN. It brings the community together right before the start of the new school year. And it has raised money for COVID-19 grants, mental health support, STEM enrichment and scholarships, and so much more.

Since it was timely, we turned the first of three community service videos within 24 hours of the event. That way the video could quickly be posted on social media. And we created three different videos for HF Sinclair Puget Sound Refinery: a full :60 feature video (which lives on the Anacortes Schools Foundation website) and two shorter :15 videos for social media. Again, it’s a solid return on investment for a single event.

Community Service Videos

On top of creating community service videos for local business, we also take pride in our community service as well. At Moarly Creative, we have offered our time, talent and treasure to the Bleeding Disorder Foundation of Washington, Real Escape from the Sex Trade (REST), King Country Sexual Assault Resource Center (KCSARC), and many other community and nonprofit organizations.

If you are genuinely committed to your community, we want to help you create powerful community service videos. Please contact us by phone, text or email.
