Social media videos are important to any successful online presence. I’m not just talking about YouTube either. Instagram reels and TikTok seemingly rule the social media world these days. And other platforms like Facebook and Twitter reward you with more eyeballs for posting video content.
Social media videos come in all shapes and sizes. 16:9 (1920×1080) is the most common dimension on social media, but Instagram reels are 9:16 (1080×1920) and Facebook stories are 4:5 (1080×1350) — just to name a few. The good news is: our video production team can create all the required dimensions using a single piece of content.
MBAKS Social Media Videos
We were hired by the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties (MBAKS) to create a series of social media videos around the Seattle area. The videos were member testimonials for the organization’s GRIP Program. We framed each testimonial video to the different social media video dimensions: 16:9, 9:16 and 4:5. And we created different lengths for their content as well: 1:00, :30 and :15. Doing all that allowed MBAKS to massively maximize its return on investment. One video shoot tackled nine different social media videos for a single testimonial.
Compass Group
Compass Group, the company who provides dining services to Microsoft, turned to our Seattle video production company for a series of social media videos as well. The videos featured four different dining events on the Microsoft campus. All were meant to honor Microsoft employees with free food and festivities, and it was our job to capture every second of the fun.
And just like we did with MBAKS, we turned each event into different social media videos for Compass Group. All were 16:9 and 9:16, and we created 1:00 and :30 versions for them as well. We shot four events and Compass Group received 16 different pieces of content. Again, that’s a huge return on investment for just four videos shoots.
You’ll hear me say it time and time again. We love to grind at our Seattle video production company. We shoot and shoot and shoot until our time is up. The more we gather, the more we can create for you. We know that video production isn’t the cheapest service in the world, so we want to make sure we earn every penny you pay us. And one of the best ways to do that is through social media videos.
HomeStreet Bank
Our partner HomeStreet Bank surely got their money’s worth with a social media video we created with them. The video was a customer testimonial that focused on Michele King, a single mother with poor credit who was able to purchase a home thanks to the help of HomeStreet Bank. The video garnered more than one million views on Facebook, and it was so successful that we turned it into a television commercial.
Social media videos are powerful tools. And they also help you maximize your video production budget. If you’re looking for a video partner, be sure to contact us.
